Zelda: The Forest Minuet

Whew! This took some doing. Collaboration piece, lineart by the ever-talented and colored by yours truly. Saria from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. She's a kokiri and the Sage of the Forest Temple, hence the title. I pulled some stops on this, and it couldn't have been less than fourteen hours coloring it in Photoshop 9.0 and Painter 9.0 (mostly only for the wee fairy). There aren't really any special effects in this, except for the wee bit of fairy dust. The rest of this is coloring and about fifteen layers XD. This was almost exclusively done in Photoshop, with just a hop-skip over to painter to give the fairy a little glow. I had a lot of fun coloring this, but wow, was it ever labor intensive. I have no idea how people do this stuff quickly XD.

ANYWAY. Whew. I'll be posting the non-blue version of this later tonight, just in case someone would like to see it. Again total kudos to Yuina, who did the adorable lineart.
